Three visitors to the Plymouth Settlement – John Pory of Virginia, Emmanuel Altham from England, and Issack de Rasieres, a Dutchman from New Amsterdam – wrote letters home about what they saw, observing the people, the natural setting and the community. These letters provide a fascinating objective view of colonial Plymouth.

WHO? The discussion will be facilitated by Peggy Baker, a local Plymouth historian and the Thomas Roger Family editor of the GSMD Silver Books, the Director Emerita of the Pilgrim Society and Pilgrim Hall Museum, and an Honorary Life Member of the MSMD.
